After many days and nights out in the studio I finally reached the point of hanging my first show. C&P Coffee Company in West Seattle is the first location and my work will be up through the month of August for the Art Walk. As luck (or fate) would have it - it just so happens that my second show, originally scheduled for the Ballard Art Walk in September, has been moved to August. Luckily, I've been pretty excited about some new direction in my work thanks to Sharon for teaching me about new mediums. I've been having a lot of fun experimenting with them and working with one of my favorite subject matters - crows. Yep! Crows. The West Seattle show is a blend of my older works and some of the newer while the Ballard show will be almost entirely new work. Both spaces have been a challenge to fill as they are large in scale and my work is small.Now that one show is hung I'm updating the website and feel a bit rusty at it. Nevertheless, it is overdue and so here is my first blog - my launching day. - Terry
