Seems like just a few weeks ago I was frantically finishing works to support two shows at once. What was supposed to be a show in August and a show in September suddenly became two shows in the same month! With a bit of extra push I was able to manage it and am pretty pleased with the results. I'm off in a new direction and people seem to relate to it well - the proof is in the pudding or in this case, the sales. Moving my second show forward gave Sharon the opportunity to take my September Ballard Art Walk slot and pushed her into panic mode as she worked diligently to amass an impressive inventory of new work. In a few short weeks she pushed herself in new directions and managed to have fun in the process! Her exploration of animals using her own creative spin is a hit - she sold ten pieces opening night! We're both psyched and bolstered by the success of our Art Walk shows. Now if life will just get out of the way and let us create...
